Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the IO Datalabs website or any of our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms of Service, and agree to be bound by them. If you are accessing our services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
Description of Services
IO Datalabs provides custom software development, data engineering, AI/ML integration, and related technology consulting services. The specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for any engagement are governed by a separate Statement of Work or Service Agreement executed between IO Datalabs and the client.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all content on this website—including text, graphics, logos, and code—is the exclusive property of IO Datalabs and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use our website or services for any unlawful purpose; transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; interfere with the proper functioning of the website; or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
Client Obligations
Clients engaging IO Datalabs for project work agree to: provide accurate and complete information necessary for service delivery; make timely payments as outlined in the applicable agreement; and ensure that any materials or data provided to IO Datalabs do not infringe third-party rights.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed in the course of an engagement. Confidentiality obligations survive the termination of any service agreement, except for information that becomes publicly available through no fault of the receiving party.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IO Datalabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our website or services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. IO Datalabs does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.
Modifications
IO Datalabs reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
